Nico Moon Photography is a boutique studio and we primarily focus our attention on creating beautiful pieces of finished artwork for your home with the precious photos of your own children and the signature look of Nico Moon Photography. Sessions are booked 1-2 weeks in advance. Newborn sessions should be booked during pregnancy as newborn sessions are held during the first 8 days of life.
Nico Moon Photography Signature Sessions
A custom family photo session is something everyone should experience at least once. A Signature photography session is fun, relaxed, spontaneous and natural. These are customized sessions lasting up to 3 hours (newborns up to 4 hours) and can be taken at your home, an urban setting or a natural setting (like the beach or an open field, garden or wooded area).
Not stiff or posed, they reflect the authentic characters of the people involved. The experience is 100% customized – from wardrobe to styling, down to the last detail. You’ll have our full attention as we guarantee you will see the very images you have pictured, as well as a few surprises.
Each portrait is given much time and attention in our digital darkroom bringing out your best features and colorizing them to become works of art. Besides prints, you will have choices from our full boutique of gallery-wrapped canvases, frames, books, albums, image portfolio boxes, holiday cards, invitations, and announcements.
Sessions and Collections
Our photo sessions are packaged with a varying amount of digital images and credits towards purchase of prints, books, canvases and matted image boxes. They start at $450. Clients generally anticipate spending around $1,400 for the session itself, all proofed images on CD, and various boutique items for display. Please contact me to receive the full price schedule.
Nico Moon Petite Digital Sessions

All digital….all fun! Our Digital Petite Sessions are all-inclusive, one flat-rate, limited edition mini-session alternatives to the longer, more-personalized Signature Sessions. For those who just want a few images to update their walls or to commemorate a moment and don’t need the full custom photography experience.
• Maternity portraits • “Baby’s First Year” – 4 months, 7 months, and 1 year.
• Milestones (starting school, birthdays, loss of first tooth, etc.)
• Sports Events • “Mommy and Me” or “Daddy and Me”
• Bridal portraits • Head Shots or Modeling Cards • Pets
• Just need that one perfect picture for your card or invitation.
Petite Digital Sessions are $650 and include:
• 30-45 minute petite photo session (custom Signature Sessions last 2-3 hours, up to 4 hrs. for newborns, multiple clothing changes & locations).
• Up to 3 members of the same immediate family (spouses and children, for example.) Pets do count in this number; babies must be at least 4 months old – there can be no exceptions, as these short sessions simply don’t allow the time required for larger groups.
• A clothing change 1/2 way through (time permitting).
• All proofed digital negatives on CD – after the session, I will delete images that are out of focus, eyes closed, etc., but you get ALL the rest! There will be at least 25 files and could be much more! These digital files will receive basic editing, but no retouching or artistic edits.
• Printing release for your digital negatives. (Files will be printable up to 8×10).
• 1 fully retouched 8×10 print of my favorite image.
• Enlargements will be printed on metallic paper with linen texture and mounted for longevity.
• Option to purchase additional fully retouched prints, canvases, books or albums.
• Extremely fast turnaround! Your CD will be shipped to you within 2 weeks (and possibly sooner)!
